Just tried this Hansshow phone charging pad for Rivian and it's very innovative and works well. Worthy upgrade from the Rivian OEM pad. It has extra charging ports and ambient lighting. But I'm going to encourage people to boycott this product.

One of the images they use *WITHOUT PERMISSION* is a friend of the forum/community/discord:

They've been asked *nicely* to remove this image they've unethically appropriated.

The "before" photo is not only NOT representative of the Rivian OEM, it's representative of a known great product built by a Rivian enthusiast and a really great guy.

Until they want to undo the libel and make things right with the community, they don't deserve our money.

That’s pretty unfortunate and I’m sorry to hear that. I just reached out to Hansshow to share the community’s concern, and that they should remove the image and hopefully make restitution. I’ll check back with the outcome when I hear word.

I heard back from the company and the quickly removed the image. It still doesn’t justify it but I’m glad they removed it. Now we’ll see if any other restitution is made. Thanks for letting me know.

Fair warning, if you have this installed, it will likely prevent installation of OTAs.

They had already been contacted by the owners of the image and refused to remove it. They (and EVBase) have a history of similar unethical behavior including threatening reviewers if they don't get glowing reviews. Personal suggestion is to not purchase from either company.
