Horn not working in cold

Anyone else notice horn function in extreme cold not working? Few below zero can just barely hear it.

Tech told us water gets in the horn, which is why it sounds silly generally. Imagine this get exacerbated by cold conditions.

Can blow it out with compressed air, he said — assuming its not frozen.

It's very quiet inside the cabin in general since it is directional and faces forward. Try hitting it with someone standing in front of the vehicle and I bet it is much louder.

Pretty sure mine still has two horns...I assume dual tone. Yesterday it sounded like a mono-tone, like one wasn't working.

It probably ingested water/sleet and froze. Park it out of the elements, let it thaw and give it a few good blasts to push moisture out. Owner Guide has similar instructions for water fording.
