I’m not sure it matters because I know several people that received the update and do not subscribe.Some folks have mentioned in the past they connected their R1's to a highspeed Wi-Fi & that seemed to get the update sooner than waiting for it to download over the built-in att data connection we have in our R1's, but now with "Connect+" it's noted these paid subscribers get priority over non paid subscribers access to updates.

That seems extremely unlikely, but now I really want to try it.I have some observations that I experienced, which indicate if you’re connected to a Rivian internal network such as at a service center, then the updates come quickly. Certainly worth a try if someone has easy access, park in a SC parking lot, connect to their network and see if things are quicker.
I’m two hours from my closest service center, so that’s definitely not happening for me.
