Possibly - but there has been a rash of these failing on gen2 recently.

I'd ask Rivian - they should be able to get the DTC and provide advice. Having ADAS fail suddenly is not fun (especially if mid lane change on gen2).

Your truck identifies as a (R)ivian? har har. No harm in trying hard reset. If that doesn't work, it's most likely a deeper issue that require service ticket.

My ‘26 G2 R1S had this then magically fixed itself after a few days. Hard and soft resets did nothing. I destined myself for a service visit (6h drive each way) - then it magically resolved.

I had this happen a couple weeks ago, 2 hours in on a 10 hour drive. Also had an error that camera’s needed to be calibrated. Did a hard reset, error went away for about 10 miles but came back. Did another hard reset and let the truck sleep while having lunch. Error did not come back. Never had an issue on my return trip.

Mine did the same thing and magically restored itself. It tends to reappear during heavy rain and automatic car wash use. I am suspicious that it’s a water intrusion issue.

Good point, didn’t think of rain/water. The beginning of my trip had some really bad storms and I also washed it the day before. Never had rain again, and haven’t had the issue.

Just recently, I have been getting a message about the left lane change camera on the side view mirror. It generally flashes briefly, sometimes as often as 50 times in 10 minutes. When I wanted to photo the message, it went away, only to return later.

Rivian called me about a month ago and told me my left wing mirror camera needed to be replaced. I didn't get the .34 update so I called Rivian and they pushed it to our G2 R1S. Immediately after the update we lost all ADAS. It went in this morning for the fix, blinker recall, headlight recall, etc. They will road test it in the morning and hopefully all is good. Not sure we received a proactive phone call and other's haven't.
