Seriously. Cant be that hard unless Amazon is preventing it for some reason. How about being able to use voice for music like Apple Music?! How sketchy is it trying to change or find a song while driving and using the keyboard?! Not sure how they let that pass
Release notes have not been released yet.any existing features coming ? or Just overall performance and bug fixes ?
I Know, Rivian tracker may be know as he will get the updates earlierRelease notes have not been released yet.
I think you can probably refuse an OTA upgrade, and perhaps do it every other month, if you prefer. The rest of us do want it to upgrade. If we're talking wish list.
Wish #1 - Don't update so damn often.
Wish #2 - Give the dual motors guys an "AWD Lock" button to stop the rear motors from disengaging.
Yeah I tried everything through amazon to have Apple Music be the default in the car etc... no diceSeriously. Cant be that hard unless Amazon is preventing it for some reason.
Dude, has to be one of my favorite posts on here. You nailed it."Fixed a rare issue where some vehicle infotainment systems were inadvertently backdated to 2005 and lacked the ability to read text messages from the driver's phone."
Another great post. Subtle. Took me a second.I am already outraged it doesn’t fix my issues
That and the Apple Podcast app are the only things I miss from my Model Y.I miss seeing my text messages on screen as on my Model Y.
I'll go one better get rid of cell phone period. Life functioned fine before they came along. Actually, I liked my life before cell phones became a thing.I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't want my texts displayed on the screen. I'd rather focus on driving and being out in the world instead of glued to yet another screen. Why would it be that important to read, or respond, or always be "connected" while driving? If it's truly an emergency, don't text me... IDK, how about picking up the phone and calling me instead?
Everyone's use case is different. One of the downsides to being able to work fully remote is that I have to be very "available." I hate being connected all the time but it pays the bills well. So I deal with having to send/receive texts. The ability to do it hands free is something I miss from my Telsas or when using CarPlay/Android Auto.I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't want my texts displayed on the screen. You can still do hands free. I use Siri to read, compose, and send messages when on my trips. Works great, plays over the Rivian speakers and I do not have to take my eyes off the road to read the text on the screen.Everyone's use case is different. My wife is even worse than my work at texting me. God help me if I don't respond to any of her texts quickly.
