Am I crazy (no need to answer) or I can't do math anymore
Long story even longer:
replaced my Pirelli A/T's at 34,000+ miles with Bridgestone Revo 3's (don't really rock crawl or do highly technical trails so no noise and efficiency were the driving points on the purchase)
Didn't keep up with the efficiency during early ownership - also think it wasn't readily available on the main screen until late '23 or early '24)
I've always kept my app and truck software up to date with no issues
Since I got the new tires I am commuting from Chattanooga to Huntsville weekly
Don't have the home charging station installed yet so having to supercharge at EA and Tesla on the weekend
then L2 (90%) charging in Huntsville during the week to get back to Chattanooga on the weekends

Ignore the dust on the screen
These are the efficiency pics at/near 4K on the new tires - 54 psi cold (June '24)

Note the higher efficiency on "A" assumingly due to the smooth tread on the Pirelli's

Fast forward to this morning - been running 58 psi cold:

Notice the decrease in efficiency on my total mileage "A" compared
with an increase on the replacement tires "B"

what am I missing not understanding here?

The bridgestone is slightly heavier than the OE Scorpion, which certainly is not helping. I experienced similar going from the OE to the Michelin Defender Platinum as well. I've heard some tires get more efficent as they "break-in." While I have a difficult time believing the tire gets more efficient, I have experiened a slight up-tick in efficiency on my Michelins over 7k miles since install.

can agree with all you said
my efficiency went up as the Pirelli's got real worn in the last few weeks of their lifespan
Revo's show to be getting better with mileage also
but here is what I am looking at
m/kWh*kWh=miles +/-some inefficiencies in charging, auxiliary needs, drain, etc. = true miles travelled
third pic is way off
2.09*19444=40,638 -----> 45055
that's right at 10% loss
pics 1, 2, and 4 are within 1%

I thought at first it might be high use of the superchargers or driving habits but it should show up in pic #4 also

might not be anything but still wondering

Is 59 right for your tire pressure? All your eff numbers look pretty close.

My experience with efficiency is that it can vary widely, and it is best not to worry about it too much. I use my lifetime average (2.4) for calculations and leave a healthy margin in case I have low eff on a trip for some unknow reason. I would benchmark it over the course of 5K or so miles on the new tires and use that.

58 cold - the 59 was after the short drive to work
original 20" Pirellis have a load rating of 2756
the Revo 3s have a load rating of 3750-E and 3415-10ply with max 80psi
going on 11K on the Revo 3s
I just can't wrap my head around the increase in EFF over the 11K (B's) vs the decrease in lifetime (A's) and the lifetime (A) being 10% off when everything else is within 1%

was just curious if anyone else was seeing random figures

Well, it doesn't math. 45054/19444=2.32, not 2.09. Can you pull up the full trip screen in settings and send that for A?

Same issue/numbers
might try a soft reset

59 psi cold pressure on your tires?
Does driving it feel as if you are in the Flintmobile?
As other have said, efficiency varies. Efficiency on mine at the end of long trips varies anywhere between 2 and 3 miles/kWh. I also use percentages instead of actual mile range.
Also, I tend not to care much about efficiency, especially if it tends to always linger around 2 mi/kWh. Should it change (reduce) drastically from that, I may pay attention.
Forever All Purpose mode here, standard height, and none of those hideous aero wheel covers, either.
What's will all that dust on your screen :) :)?

I'd return it, broken calculator.
I can live with it - just curious
This is one of a very few minor problems with this vehicle
as I said in an earlier post of mine (whole other thread) this is absolutely the best vehicle I have ever owned - this vehicle "feels good" to drive
I 've had none of the gaps, loose fits, strange sounds (other than Pirelli's), software issues (except this minor one now) or charging issues (other using EA)
I did miss out on the PTC and the wood grain inserts on the back of the headrests

When I purchased 2 months ago, I assumed that the Rivian trip meters were just as broken as the Tesla ones. Tesla doesn’t track power usage while the vehicle is off (Sentry Mode aka Gear Guard, Cabin pre-conditioning, etc…).

When I got the Nissan Leaf in 2013, I updated my vehicle expense spreadsheets to track electricity usage instead of gasoline. For accurate expense tracking, including all the vampire drain, I track at the electric outlet using a dedicated energy meter. This tracks the actual efficiency, not whatever the vehicle happens to be tracking. All DCFC sessions gets transferred into the spreadsheet as well.
