I have been watching the threads for months and seen the good, bad and ugly. My estimated delivery of R1S is August/September 2023 (Soooooooo... close ). Had the opportunity today to visit the Gaithersberg Maryland SC Just openend 2 days ago. I was greeted by Mason and Shane. Both super enthusiastic about the new place and their product.
The facility was easy to get to and lots of space. 3 R1S"s were inside. 30 Min from my home I feel lucky.
Mason took me on a test drive.......Limestone R1S, quad, 20 AT, black mountain dark ash. Went over as much as we could in a test drive. This vehicle is awesome.....It Was 94 degress today inside A/C cool and quiet. No Tock, or untoward vibrations. I didn't go over every inch but seemed as solid if not more than my 2005 LX470. The ride was smooth if not smoother than my lexus. Will have to get used to the one pedal but got better even during our test.
I want mine more than ever now. I know there will be growing pains. I thank the earliest adopters for posting and making this vehicle even better each month.
