Only if your EV experience is Tesla. All the legacy manufacturer EVs do not have this issue. My MINI could sit for weeks without losing anything.

Our Volvo XC40 Recharge could sit for weeks without much charge loss, but it doesn't have the gear guard video drain or much software updating to check on (because the software is not anywhere as good or capable as Rivian - courtesy of Google).
