For the last few years, I've started collecting national park and trail patches. They're all the classic sew/iron patches. I've been planning to stitch them onto a duffle or tote bag, but starting thinking it might be fun to have them somewhere in my R1S.
My first thought is to add some loop strips to the inside of the frunk lid and add some hook tape to the patches themselves. Any reason that wouldn't work? I think the plastic lid should be fine for holding the adhesive of the loop strips, assuming I use some that are suitable for higher temps.
Any other ideas? I could do a fabric panel somewhere in the cargo area or seat backs, but I'm not sure that will be the most durable option. With this route, if I use an easily removable panel, I could actually stitch the patches on.
Anybody else do something like this? (not just with NP patches but other things?)
