That is an excellent design for sure. Rivian should buy the idea from you and put that in their website shop.

I have a Gen1 R1T and I have no issue charging my iPhone 14 Pro on the console. My wife has the iPhone 13 Pro Max and she does have an issue sometimes. We have the USB cable plugged in and she uses that.

Thank you. It’s a boutique product, though. I hope Rivian fixes their charging options in future models (I suspect they will).

That's a great option to have available, especially for those still wanting to use Waze or other apps on their phone while driving.
