PNW Rivian Meetup Video w/ Thirteen R1 owners @ Hood River Loop 23 Oct. 2022

There were 13 R1's that ran the Hood River loop trip, or parts of it, Oct. 23rd. A nice large group gathered with 12 R1Ts and 1 "Star-of-the-Show" GORGEOUS El Cap R1S. The highlight of the day was the beautiful fresh snow up at Mt. Hood. Was a great fun!!! Thanks to our intrepid leader, Bruce (@DuckTruck), all went well and it was a wonderful meetup.

A pair of R1T's actually rescued a van that had slide off the side of the road in the snow on the way up to Mt. Hood--Rivians to the rescue!! A soft shackle was sacrificed in the process while pulling the van out the ditch, but the R1T and its owner proved their quality by providing assistance.

I was always red canyon but I had a hot minute thinking about yellow.

I love my R1T because it’s different and I love being red because it’s different. I love my rack because it’s different

The only problem is when I accelerate past other cars there is no missing me and I actually met someone later that day and he kinda scowled at me as I said hi and said “yeah, I noticed your truck this morning zipping past me on the street”

Sad I couldn't make this trip, had too much going on that weekend. Another time, hopefully!

I wonder how many of us in total there are in OR/WA? It would be crazy to get a caravan of like 100 R1s going at once
