Just had my Gen 1 powered tonneau cover replaced, it had original scratch at delivery May 2022, (was on due-bill so it was pre-recall anyway).
While awaiting appointment, 2 weeks ago, I had a 'pop and whistle-hiss' as the driver front suspension failed and could not raise (also overheated the compressor so couldn't change Drive modes).
Got it towed to El Segundo SC on Labor Day (great service team BTW), and had to go back to my Ram 1500 for 2 weeks.
Picked it up today and found a scuff/scratch on one of the cover slats, kind of a bummer on brand new item. ?
Then I see this post, so not sure what I'll do:
1. Mobile service to replace new slat, or
2. Request/ purchase new Gen 3 PTC
