Purchasing Used 2023 with Only 140 miles - Bad Idea?

It's all about price and how much you're willing to take on. From the prior posted Carmax link, I see your G1 listed for about the same price as another G2 with 6k miles. For that price, I'd look at both and get Carmax to sort out all the issues before I buy. All the best.

Just heard back from Carmax - the vehicle won’t hold a charge. They’ve “charged” it multiple times, and each time is drains back to 0% They are going to refund the transfer fee.

So back to the original question: is it bad for the battery to be unattended for several months? Based on this one data point, yes it is.

Probably better stated is it bad to not have the vehicle plugged in for several months. The driving part is probably less important.
