R1/R2 comparably sized vehicles

Trying to decide whether to get an R1S or wait for the R2. Can anyone help with common vehicles that are similarly sized to each? I don’t have an opportunity to see them in person and I’m trying to wrap my head around whether I’d be disappointed with how big/tall the R2 is.

R2 is basically the same size as a Subaru Outback Wilderness (including the height of the OEM roof rack).

that was the first hit on my google search, i'm sure it's also easy to find r2 dimensions compared to others.

EDIT - lol ok so i guess it is a banned site. just google rivian comparable size. it's the first search results.

R2 is quite a bit smaller. It depends on your needs. R2 will cost less and it is still reasonably sized.

When you look at them side by side you can see just how much smaller and lower to the ground R2 is. R1 is a larger vehicle with 3rd row and quite a bit more capable with the air suspension.
