R1S Cameras not showing the feed

Took the delivery couple of weeks back.
Left the car a the detailing service for about 10 days for PPF wrap, when the time came to pick up the car from detailing service the people over there told me about the problem with the cameras, none of the cameras are showing the feed in the main screen, not even the back camera.

Called up Rivian Service they don't have appointments until month.

Do a reset (soft reset worked with mine for this problem).

A good rule of thumb, in general. When in doubt, reset.

My R1T does this intermittently. Or it shows an OLD picture (backing in at work showed my driveway from that morning). Soft Reset always fixes it, but it's annoying when going to back in somewhere. I'd say it's taken me longer than I thought to perfect the turning radius, I always think it will turn a slight bit tighter, and don't trust my sightlines. So having the cameras is great. without the cameras, I'm still not perfect... with the cameras, it's a breeze.

Happened enough I submitted a ticket, appointments were out like 8 weeks for Service. About a week later Rivian called and said "Backup cameras are a safety device, we've moved your appointment up to next week" I said "ok". I drove 1 hour to the service center and they asked "when did it happen last?" I said last week I had to reset 4 times... but hasn't happened in 2 or 3 days now. They said "Well the tech won't be able to really do anything, it's sounds like a software issue..." Do yo want to leave it here for 4 or 5 days to see if it happens again or just submit a new ticket when it does?

Sucked driving over 2 hours in traffic for nothing; but I agree it would be near impossible to diagnose if it's a random software glitch and I'd rather have my truck than Uber credits for days.

They did suggest to photo the problem, then HARD reset, which sends a report to Rivian so maybe they can better diagnose remotely. I think if enough of us report it they can get enough information to fix it. I just want to keep the ticket open in case it is a hardware issue and eventually needs warranty fix.

Also make sure they did not ppf over the two sensors on metal part of front bumper or you will get a different error too
