R1S crossbar weight capacity when using 3 crossbars?

I see the manual lists a 250lb weight limit per pair of crossbars (when driving). Does anyone know if that weight limit would increase if 3 crossbars are used and the weight is spread among all 3 crossbars, such as with a roof rack?

I plan to install something similar to the Yakima 84”x49” platform roof rack (65 lbs), along with my rooftop tent (150 lbs). If I add storage boxes or recovery gear I’ll already exceed 250lbs. Ideally I’d like the ability to place a spare tire up there as well.

I have the same question - if the roof rack like the Front Runner slim II connects at six rather than four mounting points should it not have greater capacity? Would it be and additional 125 lbs ? ie two crossbars are rated for 250 lbs for the pair - and additional latch point should add an additional 125 lbs of capacity?

Yes that is PrinsuPro‘ claim - but not necessarily what Rivian would say - I am sure the rack will support the weight - but what about the vehicle ?

Fair - Rivian would question why you’re attaching third party bits to their vehicle.
