They called me yesterday and told me they will try to fix it with a technician coming out, if that doesn't work they ordered the necessary module so it's ready just in case

Update: Technician tried to reset entire vehicle on-site, did not fix DC charging failure. Vehicle will be going into servicing later this week to replace Module, hopefully this resolves the issue

I had the same module replaced in my R1T in July on my first road trip from Toledo to Cincinnati. At that time they had no clue what the issue was and took about a week to diagnose. Once they determined the issue it was 2 days I think. 1 day to get the part, couple hours labor and a couple hour drive to get it back to me. No issues since, just a defective original module.

Definitely check L3 operation before going on a road trip. Ours did not work and required the aforementioned module swapped.
How long did they have it in the shop to swap module?

Anyone else having issues with their brand new R1S and Level 3 charging? We got our a month ago and its been extremely frustrating to have to Level 2 charge in random places all the time, sometimes leaving the vehicle on random streets to charge overnight (our building chargers have not yet been installed). We've done the reboot of Level 3 chargers and vehicle with Service team remotely, including trying every Level 3 charger in our area, no fix.

Rivian has been extremely slow to get us in for servicing (have to wait until end of year), really disappointing, especially since we use the car for our business and average more than 50 miles/day.

I read about an R1T having issues and it turned out to be faulty module, I don't know why they can't just send support with a new module and see if that fixes the issue because what will likely happen is we will drop off vehicle for servicing end of month and they will take a week or more to diagnose.

This is such a huge issue for us right now and Rivian is not helping, I'd love to hear some thoughts on what we should do to press them to make this a more urgent matter.

Too time consuming ?.... just another service ticket after owner checks themselves

Could not successfully charge using DC Fast, tried many different chargers. Got the S back the other day, it was a Module replacement (module controls many different parts of vehicle, not just DC charging). I can FINALLY charge using DC Fast!

I was told they actually check Level 2 and DC Fast before making delivery to owners. Don't know if that's really true but I couldn't charge mine using DC Fast the very next day after taking delivery.

I'm having the same problem, but it's intermittent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, I know it's the truck because of other vehicles, including other Rivians, successfully charging at the same dispensers either immediately before or after I have failed sessions. This includes RAN chargers. I've only successfully charged at a RAN DC fast charger at 1 dispenser out of 18 attempts at 3 different locations. Because it's intermittent, the SC isn't able to confirm the issue, because they take it to the local EA station and it works. The last appointment, I told them about the forum posts regarding the faulty module, and they still concluded there is nothing wrong with the truck. I'm about done with Rivian. Everything hinges on the next appointment, which isn't until middle of July. It's tremendously frustrating, and I've lost all confidence in being able to adventure with this truck!
