The past several days I have increase my default charging setting to 85% in truck mostly due to the cold weather impact on my 150 mile round trip commute for work. Yet the truck is still only charging to 70% then stops. Imagine waking up for work and realizing u don’t have enough charge for your round trip commute on several occasions! Incredibly frustrating.. anyone else seeing this?

I normally do 70% but typically once a week (usually for the weekend) I switch to 85%. I do this just before plugging in for my 10pm scheduled charge. So far I have not had any issues this this.

always 85% here, never had the truck default to anything else. I have had a few issue where charging overnight hiccups and it restarts much later, not resulting in a full 85%, but that's rare.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
Do you have a charge schedule set that may be overriding your manual setting?

No charging schedule set… I ultimately did a ‘hard’ reset and this fixed the issue

Weird. Please report the issue, if you can. Their engineers will, more often than I would have expected, actually look at your data if you give them a time stamp (or an approximation).

I have some hiccups too. Please report to Rivian. They are looking closely at my data and having me assist with some troubleshooting. Mine hiccups are happening so far when set at 48amps, and started recently (never once first 11k and 6 months...but now 3-4 times in a few weeks). Red Ring Of Death. Then wake up with a truck not ready for its daily journey.

Rivian wall charger with dedicated 60 amp panel.
