I configured and deposited $1k on June 6, and my sales guide has gone silent (no response to all comms), and my service guide sends me bot messages. No VIN, no delivery date (even to the month). Is this unusual?

The time is not unusual. It said 1-6 months when I placed the order for our R1T a few days ago. The sales guide is odd not getting back to you. Mine takes a few hours, but has been getting back regularly on our R1S out of the shop this past week.

Seems like they haven’t really figured out exactly when they’re going to start building Gen 2 R1Ts.

What configuration did you order? The dual motors will arrive the soonest with estimated delivery in Sept-Oct timeframe. Shortly after that for Tri Motor. Gen 2 Quad will not come until 2025.
