Is the R2 written in Roman numerals on the side?

It's a mess... but it's pretty bad-ass anyway!

What a dumb lazy rendering choppedfrom a picture of a new defender. I swear the people/algorithms that come up with these have never seen scar in real life.

I like it, I would consider doing a snowplow service in my neighborhood. I would however need any tire except the 21: Pirelli that I have. Or Spider Spikes! Do those fit the RiT ?

@Greg Chick: I've been talking with Scott Meyer at Spikes-Spider USA, outside Wichita. Nice guy. He has solved winter-traction problems on many front wheel drive vehicles, including my prior Saturn, Kias, and Bolts.

Spikes-Spiders are generally safe on front wheel drive cars, because they have NO parts on the inside of the tire (https://spikes-spider.com/).

Scott thinks Spikes-Spiders would work on Rivians, but he currently lacks access to a vehicle for initial tests of clearance etc..

If anyone on this forum lives within a reasonable distance of El Dorado KS, consider getting in touch with Scott for testing.

And if anyone else is interested in Spikes-Spiders, consider calling Scott Meyer (316) 761-5364.

If Scott gets a longer list of interested Rivian owners, I suspect he will move Rivian testing higher on his priority list.

I hope this helps!

My Spikes Spider set is the best gripping traction I have ever seen. If the set I have for my 21' Acure RDX fit my R1T, I will try and let you know. Waiting for snow, but if they fit, they will grip. Problem is the width of the R1T 21" tire. The sets are adjustable in size, that is the question, will they adjust big enough.
