Rear Heated Seat Needs Service?

Only had my R1T for 3 months. Have used all of the heated seats previously with now problem. Tonight, I’m getting an error message for the rear driver’s side seat. Is this something that s hard reset could fix?

IMO it’s always worth trying resets before calling in unless it’s something obviously serious. Try the software reset first, then the hard reset.

I had this error pop up when my son couldn't determine what level heat he wanted (read: kept tapping the button).

I literally did nothing but park the truck and let it 'sleep' and when we came back out the next day, the issue had resolved itself.

I think sleep reset >soft reset> hard reset would be the triage I'd attempt before calling service.

It went away after the vehicle slept for a bit.

Sounds like it was being naughty and just needed a time out to reset itself.

Same thing happened to me last night. Did a soft reset and still showing an error.. Came out this morning and it's working fine..

So it happened again. Both times were when I initially tried to turn it remotely from the phone app.

Did it resolve itself? I’m 200 miles from warranty expires and mine just started….
