hi i am considering buying a rivian r1t or r1s but i miss being able to save all the information you get on the obd2 connector along with all the camara so you can make an over layer at a later time

does anyone know if it is possible to make a solution after purchase

Maybe, but it'd be a roll your own. Driving data is available via API and cameras are recorded if you set it up. Time sync would be an issue you'd have to overcome.

There is an integration for Home Assistant that allows you to capture lots of data via Rivian APIs. Read about it HERE.

My guess is probably not, with a caveat. As I understand it, EVs are not held to the same standards for OBD pinouts and tend to not be compatible. My experience, not with the Rivian but my Audi eTron, was that the OBD unit I used on ICE cars did not work on the eTron. Now here’s the caveat. Many on the Audi eTron boards have used OBDEleven (https://obdeleven.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoq853ns55b04qkjhibWbFQSP3opeD96qnqjn16K-uuDkNwpoCD_) to access eTron data and even do a little reprogramming to turn things on/off. So you might find something, but as others said you can already get a wealth of Rivian info through various apps.
