Rivian prototypes with clamshell doors spotted?

Behind the partition there are what looks like two prototype bodies, each with clam shell doors. I'm curious if this is an early prototype for a smaller bodied truck.

Good eye! Darn shelves got in the way Here's how the R1T's cab and roofline looks compared. Could there be an R1T clamshell doors in the works? Or maybe another completely new model?

Agreed. They used extended cab mules, not crew cab, and the doors on them open in this manner.

I'm curious if this is an early prototype for a smaller bodied truck.

This would fall in line with what a Rivian rep told me at the Normal, IL event back in October. When I asked if one of the 5 or 6 EVs they plan on building by 2025 would include a longer bed, the response was just the opposite in that they are looking to provide smaller versions of the R1S and R1T. Presumably these would also carry smaller price tags.
