I have reserved an R2; but access to service will play a major role in my final decision since I live at the end of the line on the Texas Coast. My wife purchased a Polestar 3 and we now have experience with the difficult at best access to service for her Beta Cow.

Called on Tuesday and made an appointment at the Glen Burnie, MD SC for a tire rotation and 7500 mile service. Gaithersburg is closer for me but the earliest appointment they had was late June. Thankfully, the Glen Burnie SC was able to get me in early next week even if it means an extra 30 min of driving. Once the Sterling service center opens I can imagine demand spreads out much more evenly (also I'll finally have a service center within an hour of home).

We've talked about moving to the RGV or SPI when we get older and then I realized the closest Rivian Service Center would be San Antonio
