I've seen them post on other social media that they have parted out R1T wheels and wheel sets and only asking $1250 for the sets.
Is anyone familiar with this place in Pittsburgh? Sounds a little scammy and as I type, sounds too good to be true so probably a scam.
They gave me an address of 1730 Riverside St in Pittsburgh.

Sounds like a good way to get robbed at 1730 Riverside St.

Agreed.
Found another guy on facebook that had a similar experience. They quoted him $600 for a set of 20's.
Beware Rivian friends.

If you look them up and they aren't a legitimate salvage yard I'd steer clear.

Google street view's picture looks like the sort of place the mob dumps bodies. I think I'd rather pay the extra money TBH and buy the wheels from a place that isn't equally likely to have the rims or harvest my organs.

When I was younger, I used to take the bus right past this place on my way home from work downtown. It's indeed a salvage business, and has been there for many, many years.

I can't speak to the legitimacy beyond saying that if I had to dump a body somewhere, I wouldn't rule this place out.

According to google street view, very clearly a salvage yard in 2017, but an empty lot in April 2023. Could be new, though

These Facebook part out posts have been found to be scams by lots of people (including myself). I inquired about wheels, and was given a total of $600 for the set. I said I could come get them, but they wanted me to pay in advance. I immediately blocked and reported the post/user.

I, too, had a similar experience. Contacted them, they quoted me $800 for the set and $225 for the spare tire and kit. This all seemed fishy. They said they'd ship it all to me for $105. That was an immediate red flag. They also wanted payment via paypal or Venmo, but when I checked the venmo link, it was a random third person's name. Clearly not legit. Unless they have limitless sets of tires and spares :-D
