Hi folks,

I was curious if your seat restore button actually moves the seat/mirrors/steering wheel back to your preset location? In my R1T if I move the seat settings it shows the "restore" button on the screen, but pressing the restore button does not move the seat back to where I had previously saved it. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Mine will definitely restore to the previous saved position.

Edit: As of now (Nov 2022) mine no longer works. Needs service.

Yes. Sent it to Rivian to be fixed.

Lumbar was also not working on drivers side.

now works as expected.

What do you mean by "sent it to Rivian"? did you take it to the service center to have it fixed?

I’ve noticed that the Restore button remains disabled even if I move the seat away from the profile’s saved position. But then randomly (days later) it will show up as an active button and allow me to restore. It’s definitely been buggy

Mine stoped working after my last service visit. The mirrors still go to the desired position but the seat does not.

Same. I put a ticket in for it, when they called about it and told me to try soft reset then hard reset, it was working so I did neither.

I think the restore button gets disabled while the vehicle is in motion or thinks it's in motion.

Rivian will be here this afternoon to fix mine, Almost everytime I get in my vehicle the seat is reclined back or all the way forward, something in the computer is definitely off. I went through all the resets on the phone but still nothing. I don’t like the idea of Rivian driving 350mi one way for this issue but until they build more service centers we have to go through this process, painful as it is.

Mine does the same thing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Very buggy between that and the "easy entry/exit" mode.

Noticed when changing my seat position I can save the new position but the restore button is greyed out... I just have to put the car in park and back into drive to go to my saved setting
