About once a month we have to use the calibration tool for the seat and steering wheel memory positions. It will slowly drift over time and finally after about 4-5 weeks, we realize the steering wheel is too far down and won’t go up anymore, or the seat won’t lower from my wife’s memory setting.

It’s great that they give us the ability to re-calibrate, except never in my life has any of the bajillion cars I’ve owned required regular calibration like this.

Is anyone else experiencing the same? I’m going to add it to a ticket, but I suspect they’ll push us out as our appointment is Tuesday (that we’ve waited 3 months for) and they’re not usually keen to add stuff to the same appointment and would rather us wait another 3 months.

Holy crap, I thought I was the only one having this! My seat slowly (very slowly) reclining and it's driving me crazy. I have to redo it like once a month.

To be fair, it was meant to be mine, then my wife wanted it so I got something better - err, else, something else. ?

Crisis of ownership I suppose :)

Lol nope. At first I just assumed I had packed on some extra holiday fluff.

yup, i recalibrate every couple weeks. not enough to be a pain but once the wheel is off by a half inch, i tend to notice and then re-calibrate.

Yes, regular re-calibration required. Annoying, but tolerable. What I don't like is that small micro adjustments can't be stored, so I can never save my Goldilocks position..

Update: Service Center told me they believe the memory module for the steering wheel was faulty and replaced it. I’ll report back after some time to see if it continues to drift or if it is indeed fixed.

Might just be worth mentioning it in your next service ticket though.

Same issues. Even my suspensions are acting weird on both my R1T and R1S, every corner has a different height, as much as an inch difference from side to side, no to mention front to back (although this could be normal but definitely not side to side) on level ground. Brought both EVs back to service center for them to reset, recalibrate and wheel alignment to no avail. Anyone else having this issue??

Yep. Annoying. Thankfully we can at least self calibrate now.
