Now that the new service center by Boeing Field is open, has scheduling service become faster? Looking to get a R1S, but don’t know about waiting months for a service appointment in the Puget Sound region.

My Tesla is on its third battery in two months (stock pack died at 36k miles, replacement pack died at 38k miles, waiting to pick up the car with the new replacement pack now) so well familiar with EVs and service centers, but curious about how current experience compares to what I’m seeing on the forums.

I just had to make an appointment and it was showing me appointments in January. I didn't select an appointment. Service called me to schedule and got me an appointment in October.

Give it a shot. It seems to be OK, they are just not letting you schedule in the app.

edit: I should mention, service wait in July was no issue and they fixed my problem very quickly and were dead on with their repair estimate. They are improving a lot.

when i booked my appointment in June before the new SC opened, the soonest at Bellevue was late September. when i checked after the new SC opened in early August, i was able to switch to that location for mid September so at that time the queue was half as short. not sure what it is now.

its an enormous facility so you gotta think once they hire and ramp up more staff, it'll definitely shorten the queue time.

It showed January in the app. I called and got an appointment 3 weeks out for a, I hope, non critical issue. I do hope their actual service is better than Bellevue. The only major issue I have had with the truck was actually caused by the service center. During the HVAC recall they didn’t bother to actually check the Freon pressure and we didn’t realize there was an issue until we were in a desert with a toddler. LA service center confirmed it was just low.
