Functionality wise they are identical. The one still in inventory on Amazon (might be mixed at this point though, so who knows) is our previous version which was more brittle and more obviously printed. We changed how we make a lot of our products in the past couple of months so they have a much nicer finish now and are stronger - not only because of the new way of making them but I also increased wall thickness for various products including the Rivian Armrest.

Definitely see the brittleness of the one you described. Even a gentle removal of the tray when empty illicits a crackling sound. The Spigen one ended up shipping before I could cancel so I have all 3 to compare to.

Just to recap, the BestEVmod tray (I've had two, same issues) ends up sliding down at an angle and getting jammed. The Twraps model (at least this generation from Amazon) is extremely brittle. The Twraps does appear to be the best fit with regards to sliding around.

The Spigen is well built, much sturdier than the twraps and deeper than the BestEVmod. I hope it will hold up over time and not suffer from the same intolerances to staying in place. But the dog ears look thicker so hopefully that helps.

Yeah the new ones (but not on Amazon yet) are much much sturdier and higher quality...it's just the essence of how stocking Prime items works is that when you make a change it takes a while to flush out the previous version. If you run into any issues just let me know, I can send a replacement on us (all of our products are with warranty).
