R1S here, purchased 2024-02-16 with delivery at Portland (OR) Service Center.
FWIW, Rivian used a licensing agent in the Seattle area and sent plates and tabs to me from there.
They told me it could take six weeks. I think it took about two weeks.
It would only have taken a day or two if they had given me ownership documents to take to my county auditor's office, but apparently Rivian isn't allowed to do everything an Oregon or Washington auto dealer can do....
Whatever this package is, it's likely to be something good. Enjoy your Rivian!
