Slate Auto - Rivian: Is there some connection between the two?

Is this some collab with Rivian and Slate or this is just some bad render job with someone stealing the wheels from Rivian? These images show the truck with the exact same range wheel design from the R1T/R1S Gen2.

I think there might be a possibility due to connections with RJ and Bezos. Maybe this would be first product of JV? Build a small chassis with 1 enduro without the high end riven interior and you might get to 25k. We will see soon

As long as the investor are committed to a decade of money no questions asked, another EV success is in the works. If not, they die when the money runs out. Simple economics. I wish them the best but it's a long game or waste of effort.

And why in gods green earth would you choose to launch an EV company during this period of tariff uncertainty?

How could you plan for the cost of any part or service that goes into the vehicle short term, long term, in an hour?
