Slight clicking noise when going slow - new 2023 R1T

Just picked up my R1T and hear a clicking - sounds like a stone caught in the tread ( it isn't) - any issue I should be concerned about? Or is this "within spec"..lol. (less than 200 miles on the truck).

have noticed similar clicking. i have a 2023 R1T picked up in March. noticeable at low speeds. when i turn the wheel fully and driving in and out of my driveway, sometimes over speed bumps in parking lots or just uneven roads. i have a service ticket open to have them check it.

Thank you..will check them out..but let's hope it's nothing..but I'm not sure if "nothing" sound like a clicking noise..lol.

I have not..it seems to be very faint and just at very low speeds going forward..trying not to be too critical but I will keep on top of it to make sure it does not get any worse.

Mine has it since day 1, now at 5k miles. It bothers some people, but does not bother me. Atleast, not after I understand what it is.

There will always be a slight play in half shafts/drivetrain of most vehicles. Engine and transmission noise will mask it on other vehicles. Also on ICE vehicles with auto transmission and torque converter, there is a constant forward power being applied to the wheels at low speeds. This is more noticeable on manual transmission vehicles.

I finally scheduled a service appointment for this. I'm just shy of 1k miles and took delivery of a February build in March. It appeared around 3 or 400 miles. My appointment isnt until July so I cant add much detail to this yet. I'll update this thread once I know more.

Please keep us updated...this is only worrisome for me is if it is causing more damage as time goes on and could render the vehicle undriveable. Also, a small concern is the unlikely warranty denial by Rivian due to the fact that I didn't report it early enough....which I know is unlikely but still a small concern.

I have the exact same tick. From around 5-20mph. I made a note of it in the app so it is recorded. Please keep us posted after your appointment.

I have it as well. I have a gravel driveway so I always thought it was a pebble stuck in there

i have the ticking/clicking at low speeds, particularly when i am making a tight turn or a turn over a bump or dip. opened a ticket and its at the SC this week,

got a call from the SC that they discovered the camber bolts were not torqued to specs, tightened it and the clicking is gone. we shall see once i pick up and check.
