I picked up this Snowsport HD on Facebook Marketplace after seeing good reviews and doing some napkin math. It seems like it will do the trick on my very flat driveway when my battery-electric snowblower is overpowered by slush or heavy snow.

Based on the forecast I should be able to try it out soon. The view out of the lower rear camera is excellent. The ride height is set to Auto - All-Purpose and so I can go lower if required.

I'll be interested to hear how you make out with it. It looks like deeper snow (6+ inches) might be a challenge by overflowing the top of the plow.

Good point. From the videos I saw, the snow fell forward, away from the plow blade when the snow was shallow enough.

There is a curve that starts around 7 - 9" above the bottom of the blade, and the top of the blade is about 17.5" tall and hangs forward of the midpoint of the curve. So it seems like it will plow the best when the snow is below 9".

Can’t wait to see how this works for you! I bet you could totally wire up some led fog lights on those posts and plug them into the 7pin connector power with a 7pin pigtail.

How do you lift the blade or angle it?

Don't lift your butt off the seat looking behind you!

Everything is by hand.

It is on a swivel held by a pin so it can go left, right, or center. I think I can do my driveway with one swivel.

Lifting isn't necessary to move the blade backward (driving forward) as it is a floating design that tilts back when not being driven forward.

To transport the plow you lift it so that the brackets sit on top of the push rails and lock it there with pins.

I know ?

That was a major consideration before buying it. I was pretty sure that the reverse camera would work or if not, the bed camera would do. Luckily the reverse camera angle seems pretty good, and I think the ability to quickly switch between the two rear cameras will obviate the need to lift my butt.

I'd be curious to see a video of this if you can figure out how to make one while plowing!

We currently use a tractor to plow our driveway, and backing up is tedious and the thing is obnoxiously stinky. I'd rather do the quick work with my truck and just push up piles with the tractor when needed.

I was really hoping i would be able to use a front plow with our rivian but still stuck with our little residential K2 plow on our 2004 tacoma which has worked out well enough. Considered one of these for a split second but our drive way is way too long and steep to attempt reverse plowing.
