Surprised LED Light Bar colors can't be changed

I’m usually pretty minimalist but I’m surprised the LED colors can’t be changed on some of the light bars, eg for holidays, like these tints

Most LED lights in home have a range of colors.

Most federal laws and most states in the USA prohibit the use of red, blue or flashing lights on a vehicle if they are visible from the front. Some states also prohibit green too, which is why the glowing green bar is only available when the vehicles are stationary and charging.

So it is highly unlikely that any vehicle manufacture would willingly open themselves up to that kind of liability by offering from the factory the ability to change factory light colors in the front of their vehicles.

I'm sure at some point we will get control over the interior lighting colors, but I suspect we'll never get control over the exterior light colors... for legal reasons.

Its against the law, so its not surprising.

Interior is prob coming though.

At the very least, if you could change the front light bar to orange or similar colour for driving in snow or fog.
