Bummer, but thanks for confirming. I've read lots of threads with people complaining about squeaks/ticks/tocks/etc. and I wanted to establish a baseline for "normal." It definitely sounds louder in person than is captured on this video - I feel like the higher registers of the squeaking/rattling aren't coming through. Although it isn't really all that loud, but now I can't unhear it.
Yeah, I only hear it from the rear. Same with the clacking when the suspension adjusts - I hear a relatively loud clacking coming from the left rear (multiple clacks, about as loud as the turn signal). Was thinking the two might be related, but I guess not. We'll see what service says.
Yes, exactly! Squeaking like the rigging of some old pirate ship. Really happy to hear that they are are working on a fix.
Agreed, that is fantastic news. My 9XXX VIN R1S sounds like the same thing and its my biggest frustration with the vehicle. I have a mid November service apt and will be adding this officially to the list. Are there any details, a reference number or anything, on the service bulletin to guide the SC towards that?
