Very concerning that they're still holding back final pricing at this late date... at one point you will be forced to reveal pricing.

No doubt.
Not sure if you can take the 2019 prices and add in the rising cost of everything until 2023 to come up with a guestimate. See 30% number for 2023 in Automobile inflation quote.
1 Motor RWD - then $39,900; now @ 130% $51,870
2 Motor AWD - then $49,900; now @ 130% $64,870
3 Motor AWD - then $69,900; now @ 130% $90,870
[4 Motor AWD - then n/a $??,???; now

Automobile inflation
A new car will run you about $51,000 on average – about 30 percent more than in January 2020. A chart showing how much prices for new and used cars of different ages have increased since the beginning of 2020. New cars now cost $51,000 on average, up from $39,000. May 20, 2023

Apr 19, 2023 -- Tesla will have a delivery event for its long-delayed Cybertruck in the third quarter of 2023, Elon Musk said during an earnings call with investors Wednesday.
...
Asked for updated specs, such as range or unique features, Musk demurred, noting that those details would be revealed during the hand-off event.
Tesla's CEO said the event will be held toward "the end of the third quarter," which likely means September 2023. The first Tesla Cybertruck deliveries will take place during a dedicated handover event later this year, CEO Elon Musk announced during the Q1 2023 earnings call. -- Apr 20, 2023

You can't predict what someone like Elon will do.. he could keep the initial release prices artificially low to get lots of people to convert deposits into sales just to "prove" he was right in making the CT. Then after some time creep the price up to the point where they actually make a good margin on the CT. When dealing with Elon, conventional logic goes right out the window partially because of his huge ego.

I personally expect them to price the dual motor at $75-80K for the foreseeable future. Probably be able to get one or two options while still qualifying for the full Fed rebate to keep the effective price in the low 70s. The quad motor will be six figures and single motor nowhere to be found.

Their claimed original pricing is a complete fairytale, just as Rivian's was. You're not getting 100kwh pack with air suspension, power tonneau, and four-wheel steer for less than $70K, whether it has paint or not.

I fully expect them to ship the first 50K units half finished with terrible quality.

The the original pricing was also 4 years ago before pricing of everything changed. Like I pointed out other brands have gone up 30%. You could not logically expect the 2019 prices of anything in the automotive world to stay the same or close in the last 4 years ... that is just not realistic in any financial world.

FYI, I had an early Model X and it was mostly fine quality wise. Like any early versions they get a lot of eyeballs and testing before they leave the factory. After a year they my lull or get complacent.

Personally, if someone has the money I think the Tri-motor may be one of the best options as they have a LOT of TRI engineering experience+design+tuning with the Tesla Plaid S as well as the Tesla Semi-truck (image below).
