The close button on the R1S hatch is really hard to see

This is a pretty standard issue on all cars. The manufacturers always make them black to fit in with the rest of the trim. i will probably just paint mine orange or something.

My BMW, MB, and Grand Cherokee all have a white symbol. This works great, even when it is dark.

It's fine once you know it's there but whenever I am running some type of pick-up service errand, the poor person bringing stuff out never knows how to close the tailgate.. they are looking up at that door looking for a button that is invisible to them. I usually just tell them not to worry about it and I'll close it.. but once I had some grumpy so and so manually grab the tailgate and yank it down to close it before I could say anything...

Point being, it's such a small silly thing but like the keyfob buttons.. Rivian should just put an outline around them or add a little symbol in another colour for future builds. It's not for owners, it's for everyone else!
