Just because two people both ride a motorcycle, that doesn't make them kindred souls. I mean do you wave at folks buying the same cereal at the grocery store?

I wave at jeeps from my land rover, to confuse them. You’re not the only ones driving a brick with round headlights!


if I see the same kind of car and manage to stop next to them, I ask, with utmost seriousness, what kind of car they gots there?

Is there going to be a Rivian wave that we fellow Rivian's flash to each other? I'm joking, only half serious, I currently have a Jeep Wrangler and I'm actually looking forward to not waving at every other vehicle that comes the other way. It's exhausting!

Well, my friends in Iowa tell me the "wave" to acknowledge another motorist is to briefly twitch one finger up from the steering wheel while quickly nodding.

Sounds much easier and totally Farmer Cool.
