Drove down from Seattle area to the Redwoods national forest. Besides a really cool guy and his father I met at a charging station with a Limestone R1T in Crescent city, I saw about 6 or 7 other R1T’s on the road. I waved, flashed lights, had a huge smile, and got nothing in return. I suppose I’m overly excited about Rivian ?

Took a weekend trip up to Santa Ynez and on the way saw a Launch Green T on the 101 past Ventura thanks for the wave!

Saw a white T charging at the EA station in Los Alamos and then just now after dinner in Los Alamos on the 101 north a blue T went zooming past me.

Also there’s a T and and S at the Chevy dealership in Buellton for sale. ?

I like to think I’m making someone’s day every time I drive my R1T. Almost every drive there’s at least one car where someone points excitedly and/or gets their phone out to take a picture.

And sadly, I am no longer the coolest dad in the elementary school drop off line. Some other jerk dad bought himself a white R1T and is stealing all my attention! Don’t worry, I still waved at him.

I saw 5 R1Ts in one 1.5 hr. drive around SLC, UT a while back. I saw 6 Amazon Riv vans driving around today. The only R1Ss I've seen have been at the SC.

My sister in law and her fiancé live up in the mountains just outside of SLC and they fell in love with our truck. They’re ordering one as soon as they can decide on a configuration to commute back and forth to the airport and haul the skis/snowboard up to the slopes.

This last winter made them realize they need a better vehicle in the snow (and they have been wanting to go with an EV). I told them to get a set of snow tires as soon as they get the truck based on other owners experiences in the snow haha.

My 21" ASs were great in the snow this winter...including when towing 2 snowmobiles.

We make several trips a year from and to San Diego from Escalante, Utah. 632 miles and we see Rivians at the RAN stations in Las Vegas and Barstow. Other than those we may see one or two on I-15. However in San Diego we see them regularly.
