Towed our 3500lb camper with R1T this weekend

All,

I just wanted to let folks know some specifics on my towing this weekend as there seems to be a lack of info. I towed out 3500lb camper with my four person family the weather was about 25 degrees over night and it powered the campers lights and fridge as well as kettle for our tea. Our efficiency was about half the normal amount.

That’s about what I get with my much larger and heavier trailer. 1mi/kWh is a safe bet most of the time.

Yeah I think it’s the shape rather than the weight that makes the difference. That 1.1 was with the truck running the camper for 2 days. I think if we had just used it for the towing it would have been closer to 1.5 or even higher. Not bad for being so cold. Would give us a towing range of around 170 miles. And as for the person on top that would be me and it was damn cold the second night
