To prep for a Mob trip in April, I put the ARB fridge in the rear seats of the truck and plug it in the 120V outlet. Anyone know how to turn on the 120V outlets for more than 24hours? is it more efficient to use 12V instead of 120V? Thanks!

Are you going to actually be away from the truck for more than 24 hours? If not, you can just reset the timer once a day by tapping the button in the center screen and it can stay on for a long time.

12 volt should be more efficient.

Install an old software that didn't turn them off :( thanks Rivian for the downgrade here :( :(

12V is way more efficient but supposedly if it doesn't have an active flow it can turn them off. My plan for next season is to use 12V for the fridge off of a LFP buffer battery that's recharged whenever 12V in the truck is active.

My lawn mower battery will run my fridge for well over a day with a $100 inverter. I expect when I get my Rivian I will still use that power source to avoid leaving the vehicle on overnight while camping.

I'm curious if leaving the vehicle on uses more energy than the fridge takes. These compressor refrigerators are really efficient.

My experience says yes. Just leaving the inverter on causes it to add a significant drain. I don't have hard numbers, but it easily feels like at least double or triple.

At the risk of being obvious...does your phone lack an alarm timer that can be set to go off at specific times of day ?

Use 12v if you can. If you use the 120v you are converting DC to AC and then back to DC at the fridge.
