Hey @twraps , I have a simple PPF idea for you…I find the plastic center base is pretty darn close to the accelerator pedal, especially when wearing my boots, and the plastic is just beginning to scratch. Perhaps just a moderately sized rectangular PPF piece in this area would help? Would it stick to the plastic ok?

@opnwide you can purchase PPF in rolls of various widths pretty cheaply on amazon etc. It’s also called helicopter tape and racer’s tape. I have some roles that I bought for protecting mountain bike frames that should work for this fine. It should stick provided you clean the surface with alcohol first.

Nicely done @ACMX.

I did the same (in a much less sorted garage) and despite my ham fisted impatient wrenching skilz, was able to lay it down reasonably well. TWraps walked me through a bunch of suggestions and tips as well. The learning curve is fast and easy, and the product and support are tremendous.

Heads up, recommend a second set of hands for the larger top hood and tailgate pieces to avoid sticking the product to itself. Once laid down, you can still resume your solo finishing efforts.

IMO, TWraps are one of our best and earliest supporters.

I’ve also had the same experience with the Adam’s Graphene Ceramic products. As you note in OP, huge quality and bang for the buck in both cases.

Noob question. Apply the Ceramic before or after PPF?

I always apply after. It doesn't last long (6 months to a couple years) so you will likely have to reapply.

It's already part of the kit (the front one too, but haven't had time to update the listing to include it...but it's part of the cut and the final product we deliver)

Oh! I bought the kit and used it and didn’t even see them! Is it a new addition or it’s always been?

And I guess, can I purchase them again?

No, the tail lights reflectors have been there since day 1. The headlights reflectors are new though.
No need to repurchase the whole product though, just DM me with your order # and I will set up a custom order just for the reflectors.

I Just installed Twraps PPF on almost all the front end, tailgate, and door sills. Was so impressed that I also ordered the full hood kit and tail-light. Also ceramic coated with adams advanced ceramic/graphene spray. Was quoted $1900 to do the parts that I spent $300 on for the Twraps kit.

I'm ordering the front PPF from them (front, lights and mirrors) . Any additional tips beside watching the video online?

Strip wash any old wax off and use something like mothers CMX to prep the surface and take your time. You can pull the plastic back up when it’s wet if you mess up. It helps to have a second set of hands with the larger pieces. If an edge won’t stick well, let it dry a few minutes and go back to it with the squeegee. Start out with a simple piece first to get the hang of it.
