I personally have matte on all three screens and they’re awesome.

I use matte. They are good as advertised. Easy to install.

but impossible to see the screen when sun is hitting the screen through the window. (To be fair, not sure it would’ve been much better visibility even without the matte screen protectors)

We have the gloss on both our R1s - they are fantastic, totally invisible, don’t attract too many fingerprints and no scratches.

Got my Rivian on 3/31 of last year. Ordered the TWraps matte on 4/1. Definitely recommend, have got several compliments on the matte screens. People don't even realize it's a screen protector. ?

To each their own. I don’t see a need for it. Anti-glare film can wash out display if low sun hits it just right. And, unlike a TV or computer monitor, I don’t look at the displays enough for glare or fingerprints to be a bother. Tempered glass protectors buys peace if mind but none of the displays see handling and fumbling like phones and tablets are subjected to. If you have kids who throw things, I guess that creates a need.

They are great! Have the matte screen protectors on both our T and S. The matte minimize fingerprints and also reduce glare.
