Unlocked at Service Center lot

I noticed my truck hasn't moved in a while at the Bellevue annex lot, and it's unlocked. That doesn't give me warm and fuzzies. Would you remotely lock it if it's your truck? Is there some logic I'm missing to it being unlocked?

I found mine was left unlocked when it was in service. I locked it remotely when it was out in the parking lot. Whenever it was inside the building I didn’t mess with it.

They work 24/7, so no big deal. And they may have left it open for a reason. My experience is that they lock it when they are done with it for the day.

Don't think it should matter unless you left something in it before bringing it in for service.

and even then, if someone was going to trespass into the service center lot to steal from cars they're going to be smashing windows anyway.

Yeah, and if anything happens to it while under the service center's care, they are legally responsible.

If its at the service center, its their responsibility. Most of the service centers probably have fences/security cameras. If their is something you need locked up in the truck, go get it.

They probably do all of their work inside one of the work bays. Probably.

I ended up locking it last night, but there are things I need for a biking/camping trip next weekend. If my truck isn't ready by then, I'm swinging by on the way out of town.
