Not yet, but there have been some deliveries. Someone spotted one in Middlebury (they posted a pic on reddit). I think someone in Shelburne was suppose to be taking delivery.. If I recall correctly, there was one delivered in the Montpelier area (these 2 were mentioned on s00n.rivianstores.com)

I don't have an EV yet so curious if others will reply. But I have been reading a ton about them and have been looking to buy one for awhile. But I finally decided the R1T is the one that make the most sense for where I live (steep, icy dirt road in the mountains).

But personally I am not too worried other than for maybe winter towing, which I am going to possibly do down the road (if I get a Taiga). To me it doesnt really feel like you'd ever be more than 100mi from a charger. With some careful planning that should be doable. I know Vermont's gov't and electric utilities are offering a bunch of EV and charging incentives now too.

Cool. I meant high speed charging (350kw). As of a year or two ago it wasn't great, but yes I think I stand corrected. I plan to try to go to Northern VT this Summer, and I just realized there is a new high speed charger near White River Junction so if you are traveling North - South it really should not be a problem.

I know NY took the VW diesel gate scandal and used it to make a high speed charging network that is actually starting to run (google NY EVOLVE if curious). Can't wait to test it out going to Gore.

I Love the way they tied it down... I took a photo, if I ever need to secure mine to my flatbed trailer..

My Rivian arrived at noon in Mass, and it was in VT by 5!
I purposely took the "longer" way on several dirt roads after two hours of hooting it up on the highway. My god it is just incredible on these VT dirt roads! No more fear of mud season for me!

I am in Charlotte with a 9/21 reservation date, no guide assigned yet. Though, I did change my delivery address to Mass in the hopes that I get bumped up, but it's awesome to hear that deliveries are starting in VT!

I'll be keeping my eyes out for the Shelburne truck!

Question for those in Vermont who have taken delivery -

What vehicle classification did the R1T fall into when registering? It seems like this would fall under a truck >6100 lbs and using "other fuel". How much was the registration fee?
