Folks really need to check out campgrounds for extended distance trips. We just did a Kitsap-Wenatchee-North Cascades trip with no fast charging and all campgrounds. Pearrygin Lake State Park outside Winthrop has both full hookups and partial hookups, so lots of options. Charging to 100% and even with 20" ATs on the loaner, we made it back to Kitsap peninsula on a single charge.Well...as someone who last weekend did the loop from Mercer Island, to Leavenworth, to Mazama, and back through Newhalem...the charging in Cle Elum isn't too bad - there's a public EV station literally next to a Tesla setup with maybe 8 chargers (and next to a coffee shop with bathroom) so I think Cle Elum will be covered once the Tesla partnership plays out. Snoqualmie Pass - there is a public station there but it's slow - I agree that would be a good location. The biggest opportunity is a RAN somewhere in the Twisp/Winthrop/Mazama area - Mazama would be the most "on-brand" I think - and I'm pretty sure the Country Store would go along with it. Twisp would probably be easier to get built than Winthrop.
FWIW there is a station at Inn at Mazama for the Inn and their rentals. I used a 50' cord and a dryer plug adapter to charge at the cabin we rented (I had to drop the 34A down below 30A every time I plugged in though).
