Everywhere I see posts about 2025.06 being out. When mine came through it's 2025.30.

The changelist looks like what .06 was supposed to be about, so wondering why my gen2 r1s shows .30.

To be clear, you're getting 2025.06.30, not 2025.30.

The first section is the year, the second two digits are the week number. So 2025.06 means this update was declared final on week six of the year 2025 - the week of Feb 3 to Feb 9.

Week 30 would be the week of July 30, clearly we're nowhere near there.

The third set of numbers is just the "build number". Sometimes it shows the build number, sometimes it seems to be a random number. It could be different for different builds of vehicles (Gen 1 vs. Gen 2, or even "Dual" vs "Performance Dual" for all we know.)

You have 2025.06.30. The 30 denotes you have a Gen 2. The Gen 1 is on 2025.06.01. Rivian differentiates Gen 1 and Gen 2 with different build numbers.

They only release two builds; one for Gen 1 (.01 in this case) and one for Gen 2 (.30 here).
