When PAAK is acting up on my Tesla I can just tap my phone in place of my keycard.

PAAK is even worse on my Rivian, so why haven't they adopted this feature?

Description from the Tesla manual:
" Some smartphones with NFC capability can be used to lock/unlock your vehicle, just like using a key card. Ensure the Tesla mobile app is correctly paired to your vehicle and enable the NFC function on your phone. Once enabled, simply hold the phone to the driver's side door pillar to lock or unlock the door. Refer to your smartphone's instructions for specific information on how to do this. "

What if you bought an nfc tag and programmed it with like "siri shortcuts" to unlock the doors.....maybe cost you $1 and 10 minutes research and set up (at least to test it out) You can put the nfc tag somewhere icognito on the truck like upper windshield so no one sees it.

I appreciate the thought, but it's a kludgy solution and wouldn't start the truck (I don't think?)

There is no reason for Rivian not to also implement this and I'd like to know if they're working on it.
