Windscreen Micro-scratches

Anyone have experience with micro scratches on the windscreen, specifically having them buffed out or repaired? On a road trip, a gas station squeegee had something on it that scratched lovely, loopy lines across the windscreen. Would love to know that there is an inexpensive solution LOL

This is why I carry glass cleaners in the frunk and never use the public cleaning stuff. My experience long ago was annoying but not as expensive. The cleaning solution had a bunch of oily shit that made a mess and ruined the wipers.

Something got caught under the drivers side wiper on my R1T (ice maybe) a while back and now there are deep (catch your fingernail) scratches along the center of the wiper path.
Now I wait for the rock strike that cracks the window so I can replace it, but since I’m waiting for it, the strike will never come…

My insurer said that the scratches from the squeegee would qualify as damage under my policy. You might not need a rock chip unless you've got a zero fault no deductible deal for windshield cracks

I've seen people using the squeegee to clean up the area around their gas fill door after they overfilled the tank and gas ran down the side of the vehicle.. right after that the squeegee went right back into the bucket. That's what you're dragging across your windshield...
