Every time I go to plug in my truck at night I am reminded of the line from Oasis' Wonderwall, "And all the lights that lead the way are blinding." The charge port halo ring shines outward, into your eyes but no light shines on the charge port itself, making it very hard to see. It would be more helpful if some light was aimed more inward towards the port.

There... I've finally found something that annoys me about my R1T.

Agreed. And in the PNW the rain is falling. So dark cloud cover eyes squinting a bit to shield from rain. The light shining straight at you is tough. I end up shielding the bottom half the light with my hand.
